Vikas Aggarwal

Vikas Aggarwal is responsible for advising international governments on socio-economic development issues, including gender and race equality, sustainability, and financial inclusion.
He has spent over a decade working for the UK Government across security, industrial strategy, international trade, and foreign policy, and he left the government after serving as a diplomat based overseas.
Vikas was part of the Lord Mayor of London’s socio-economic taskforce, which sought to improve diversity at senior levels across the city. He has been a member of the Party since 2015 and stood for the Lib Dems in the General Election in Islington North. Vikas has been a committee member of LDCRE since 2021 and is Vice Chair of the Lib Dem Federal People Development Committee.
