Sean Worrell is a visionary leader with over 20 years’ experience driving digital innovation and organisational growth, making him exceptionally suited to lead a political AI AO aligned with the Liberal Democrats’ mission to accelerate responsible AI adoption in the UK.

As co-founder of the largest Black executive-led advertising, television, consultancy, and production company in the UK, Sean has led digital transformation initiatives and provided organisational consultancy on strategy, workflow optimisation, and technology adoption. He successfully integrated AI and automation into content operations, increasing multi-platform output and engagement. Earlier, he ran a multi-regional Google unit generating half a billion dollars in annual revenue and held multiple Senior Digital Executive roles, managing international operations and ad revenues for leading U.S. broadcasters, including Universal TV, Discovery Television, and MTV, while developing and implementing international digital strategies.

Sean also co-founded a charity expanding digital training and AI opportunities in the film and television sector across multiple regions. He is the founder of The Graddies, the UK’s largest national independent undergraduate student film award ceremony, connecting underrepresented talent with careers in creative and technology sectors through AI-driven talent matching.

Midway through his Doctoral Studies in Business Administration, Sean has spoken widely at International and UK-based conferences and engaged on panels focusing on digital and AI in society, particularly in shaping future work and employment opportunities.
