Abrial Jerram
Campaigns Officer
Abrial has been involved in running election campaigns to get Liberal Democrat candidates elected for 7 years, starting aged 14. The experience and skills he has gained over that time are suited to ensuring that minority ethnic candidates standing to represent our party have the best possible chance of getting elected.
Having grown up in Islington with family heavily involved in a diverse local party that ran the local council, Abrial understands what can be achieved when a local party truly represents and reflects the community they wish to serve, both in terms of electoral results and in terms of what can be achieved when in power.
Abrial currently studies Biology and Chemistry at Durham University and is a member of their local party executive as well as Chair of North East Regional Policy Committee, where he is focused on ensuring that Lib Dem Policy is serious about solving Regional Inequality, which parallels LDCRE’s efforts to ensure that Lib Dem policy is serious about tackling racial inequality.
